A reflection 1

When someone asks me what I want to do with my life, where I'm headed, what I intend to do in the future I often reply with a look of indignation. To answer this question would be a lie. The answer would cause self expectations to the future that I may not be able to fulfill. It has always been one of the hardest of questions for me to think about. How can I know what I want to be in the future when in all honesty I don't even know who I am myself in the present. I can't pass through time momentarily, at only one particular moment, and tell the questioner an answer.
A more important question to ponder is this: Who do you want to be now. In this particular moment? This question won't bring the questioned into thought of the future, but to this present moment. He or she will be more inclined to reflect on who they are in this moment of their life, but more important be able to see and change if they see fit instantly.  So I ask you now, "Who do you want to be?".
